Public Relations Account Executive

Stanton is a proudly independent PR agency with over 35 years of history of helping clients inform, influence and inspire through strategic communication. We are seeking a professional with strong media relations skills and 4-5 years of agency or in-house experience to join our growing team. Salary range is $60,000.00 - $72,000.00 per year, commensurate with experience.

Account Executive responsibilities include:

Developing strategies for meaningful proactive engagement with a range of traditional and new media outlets, including mainstream general news and business media, specialty industry outlets, policy publications, podcasts and blogs.

Interacting directly with press contacts, fostering relationships and creating opportunities for coverage and managing interview logistics.

Preparing impactful written communication including positioning language, messaging, press releases, media pitches, thought leadership materials and media analyses.

Engaging client audiences through online media and social networks.

Sharing our unwavering dedication to quality work and premium client service.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in media relations, ideally in a PR agency setting, and the following qualities:

Proven history of securing media coverage in a range of outlets.

Superior writing, verbal communication and research skills.

Ability to prioritize and execute simultaneous projects on behalf of multiple clients.

Experience working directly with clients to coordinate complex programs.

Demonstrated knowledge of the use of social media, social networking applications and other online communication platforms in a professional environment.

Proactive work style, attention to detail, and an ability to follow through on assigned tasks.
