NAB is seeking a creative, technically skilled Multimedia Editor/Producer to produce compelling content that advances our mission and elevates the voice of the broadcast industry. In this role, you'll edit and produce high-quality video, audio, podcasts, and digital media supporting NAB initiatives, advocacy efforts, signature events, and client productions.
From concept to final delivery, you'll help tell stories that engage audiences across multiple platforms while working on projects that reach broadcasters, policymakers, technology leaders, and media professionals around the world. Whether producing content for the NAB Show, the Celebration of Service to America Awards, podcasts, livestreams, or advocacy campaigns, our production team works with industry leaders and emerging technologies to create media that makes an impact. As a Multimedia Editor/Producer, you'll help bring these stories to life while working with cutting-edge production tools and exploring new technologies, including AI-enhanced production workflows to deliver exceptional content across every platform.
Key Responsibilities:
Video & Multimedia Production
Edit video, audio, podcast, and multimedia content supporting NAB departments, events, and client productions.
Serve as the primary post-production editor for NAB Studios, including editing, color correction, audio mixing, motion graphics, and final delivery.
Create graphics, animations, lower thirds, title sequences, and other visual elements.
Produce, write, shoot, and edit story-driven content from concept through completion.
Production & Studio Operations
Capture interviews, events, b-roll, and studio productions using single-camera and multi-camera setups.
Produce broadcast-quality audio content and support podcast recording and post-production.
Prepare content for distribution across broadcast, digital, streaming, podcast, and social media platforms.
Support live and recorded productions by operating cameras, audio equipment, graphics systems, and other production technologies.
Event Production
Support production for NAB's premier events, including:
NAB Show
NAB Show New York
Celebration of Service to America Awards
State Leadership Conference
Additional live and virtual events throughout the year
Collaboration & Workflow
Coordinate production logistics, scheduling, and project tracking.
Utilize AI tools to improve editing efficiency, audio quality, captioning, accessibility, and production workflows.
Maintain organized project files, media assets, archives, and production documentation.
Collaborate closely with the Director of Production, internal stakeholders, and clients to ensure exceptional creative execution.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
High school diploma required; bachelor's degree preferred.
3-5+ years of professional video and audio production experience.
Expert-level proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro.
Strong working knowledge of Adobe After Effects, Photoshop, and professional audio production tools.
Experience with motion graphics, podcast production, and multi-platform content distribution.
Experience shooting video in both studio and field environments.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
Familiarity with modern video, audio, and AI-assisted production workflows.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree.
Radio and/or television production experience.
Knowledge of the radio and television broadcast industry.
Work Environment & Travel
This position operates in a professional office and production environment with a hybrid schedule which includes at least three days in the Washington D.C. office. Travel of up to 10% is expected.
