Vista Innovative Solutions is seeking a Technical Writer to add to our Information Technology Support Services team in support of the Army Sustainment Command (ASC) at the Rock Island Arsenal in Rock Island, Illinois.
Responsibilities Include:

Works closely with business application stakeholder(s) to define and document requirements
Creates and builds out user assistance infrastructure, including how-to sections, FAQs, and Help sections
Writes about technical subjects for technical and nontechnical audiences
Test and updates existing documentation
Knowledge and Skills Required:

Skill in working independently, multitasking, prioritizing projects, and meeting deadlines.
Skill in using analytical and research skills in performance of job duties.
Demonstrate high-end customer service skills and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Skill in establishing and maintaining cooperative working relationships with others.
Ability to present ideas in user-friendly language.
Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
Self-motivated to learn, troubleshoot, and complete projects.
Skill in software testing, developing end user acceptance plans & delivering guidance for end user testing
Preferred 2+ years' experience
Physical Requirements

Predominantly indoors in normal office environment
Must be able to sit, stand, walk, stoop, kneel and reach
Must be able to speak, write, read, and understand English
May require frequent computer use for several hours at a time
Frequently work at fast pace with unscheduled interruptions
Must have visual acuity
