Apparel Designer - Knits & Lounge (Womenswear Focus)

We're looking for a creative and detail-oriented Apparel Designer to join our team, focusing on cut & sew knits, sweaters, and lounge categories. In this role, you'll bring fresh ideas to life-from concept through execution-while balancing trend, brand identity, and commercial viability.

What You'll Do

  • Design original apparel concepts across knitwear, sweaters, and lounge categories

  • Translate fashion trends into seasonal collections that align with brand direction

  • Create sketches, mood boards, and presentation materials to communicate design vision

  • Partner closely with sourcing, materials, and product development teams

  • Select fabrics, colors, and trims that support both aesthetic and performance goals

  • Participate in fit sessions and contribute to garment construction and fit improvements

  • Support seasonal line development from concept through production

What You Bring

  • 3-7+ years of experience in apparel design, with a focus on knitwear, sweaters, or lounge

  • Strong ability to conceptualize and execute original designs

  • Deep understanding of fashion trends, color, and fabric development

  • Experience working cross-functionally with product development and sourcing teams

  • Knowledge of garment construction, fit, and body blocks

  • A strong portfolio showcasing end-to-end design work

Nice to Have

  • Womenswear experience, especially in sleepwear or loungewear

  • Expertise in sweater design (yarns, stitch techniques, gauges)

  • Experience in fast-paced or high-volume retail environments

  • Exposure to global sourcing and vendor collaboration

Who You Are

  • A creative thinker who can turn trends into wearable, brand-right designs

  • Detail-oriented with a strong eye for fit, fabric, and finish

  • Collaborative and comfortable working across teams

  • Able to balance innovation with commercial impact

If you're passionate about designing product that customers love and wear every day, we'd love to hear from you.
