The Rise of Women’s Football is a fast‑growing platform dedicated to amplifying the women’s game globally. We spotlight players, clubs, competitions, and stories that deserve more attention. Our mission: grow the visibility, engagement, and appreciation of women’s football across all audiences—fans, players, media, business and the next generation.

The Role

We are looking for a creative, football‑obsessed Social Media Intern to join our team. If you’re passionate about women’s football, digital storytelling, and building online communities, this is the perfect opportunity to gain hands‑on experience in sports media.

As our Social Media Intern, you will support content creation, community engagement, and growth strategies across all platforms (TikTok, Instagram, YouTube and LinkedIn).

What You’ll Do

Content Creation & Planning

Brainstorm, script, and create engaging posts, reels, and stories

Support video editing, graphics, and trending social formats

Assist with weekly content planning and publishing

Social Media Management

Help schedule posts and monitor engagement across channels

Identify emerging trends in women’s football and social media

Support live coverage of key matches, tournaments, and breaking news

Community Engagement

Interact with followers, respond to messages, and help moderate discussions

Contribute ideas to strengthen community engagement and retention

What We’re Looking For

Strong passion for women’s football and storytelling

Creative thinker with a good eye for social content and trends

Excellent written communication skills (English; extra languages a plus)

Basic experience with social media tools (e.g., Canva, CapCut, Adobe, etc.)

Proactive, organised, and willing to learn

Bonus: Experience with video editing, journalism, or sports media
