To support a growing content department, the contract-to-hire Senior Content Editor will review content strategies, ensure editorial alignment with marketing goals, and establish editing standards while working remotely and transitioning to a full-time role based on performance.
Key responsibilities

Review and pressure-test content briefs and strategies before writing begins
Edit content for strategic alignment and ensure it meets search intent and marketing goals
Develop and implement editing standards and quality control processes for the editorial team

Required qualifications

5+ years of experience editing strategic marketing content in a fast-paced environment
Proficiency in evaluating SEO strategies, including keyword selection and content architecture
Ability to work independently and make editorial decisions without direct oversight
Strong collaborative skills with a focus on building trust and providing constructive feedback
