The Role
We're looking for a creative, driven Video Producer to serve as the primary videographer and editor for Redemption Church, helping tell the story of what God is doing in and through our church. You'll work closely with our Communications Director and ministry leaders to plan, capture, edit, and deliver high-quality video and visual content that brings our mission and vision to life — from sermon bumpers and testimony videos to event recaps, podcast production, and social media content.

This is a hands-on, creative role for someone who loves storytelling through video and wants to use that gift to serve the local church.

Key Responsibilities

Film, edit, and deliver video content including sermon bumpers, testimony videos, promo videos, countdowns, event recaps, and social media videos

Create motion graphics such as animated titles, lower thirds, and sermon branding elements

Film guest speakers and prepare message videos for playback at other services or campuses

Collaborate on creative direction, storytelling, and video strategy for church-wide content

Organize and maintain video project files, gear, and the video room

Capture photos at key ministry events as needed

Train and develop volunteers in videography, editing, and photography

Manage video project workflow using Basecamp

Attend weekly staff and creative planning meetings

Manage Sunday sermon uploads to YouTube, ensuring clean, consistent titles and descriptions

Support production of the church's podcast(s) — setup, recording, and editing

Assist with tech needs for special events (Bible studies, funerals, ministry gatherings)

Support broader creative and tech needs as they arise

Qualifications

A mature, growing Christ-follower who is doctrinally aligned with the vision, beliefs, and values of Redemption Church

Skilled in videography, video editing, and motion graphics (would prefer 2 years of experience or more)

Creative, detail-oriented, flexible, and decisive, with strong organizational and prioritization skills

Able to work both independently and collaboratively with a "we not me" mindset

Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, including active listening

Trustworthy with confidential and sensitive information

Committed to a daily rhythm of Bible study and prayer, and to being a supportive team player among staff

Schedule
Part-time, up to 29 hours/week. Typical in-office hours are Monday–Thursday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM, with flexibility based on Sunday responsibilities, events, and production needs. Hours will not exceed 58 hours in any two-week pay period.
