Recreation Program Supervisor – Department of Recreation

We are seeking a full‑time Recreation Program Supervisor (35 hours per week, Monday–Friday 1:00 pm–9:00 pm) to lead seasonal and year‑round recreation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities

Plan, schedule, and evaluate seasonal recreation programs, sports leagues, and special events.
Assist the Recreation Director with program development, promotion, and budgeting.
Recruit, train, and schedule seasonal staff and volunteers.
Manage facility reservations, program registrations, pickleball memberships, and coach certifications.
Attend recreation programs and athletic events to provide operational support.
Prepare operational and statistical reports related to recreation programs.
Serve as liaison with community organizations and volunteer groups.
Conduct park and facility safety inspections.
Qualifications

Preferably a degree in Recreation Administration or Business/Sports Management.
Special consideration for state or national certification as a Recreation Professional or Administrator.
CPR/AED certification a plus.
Strong organizational and motivational skills.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Starting salary $41,414.00–$65,000.00, plus pension and benefits.
