We are building the first AI-first PR agency. Podcasting first. Everything else next. This role is for the person who runs it with us.
The Bet
Public relations has not changed in twenty years. Booking a founder onto a real podcast still means Airtable, Apollo, Gmail, and a lot of people staying late. Retainers still buy activity, not outcomes. The best agencies underdeliver placements, over-invoice hours, and blame the algorithm.
We are not going to fix that with a better project management tool. We are going to fix it by handing every part of the workflow that a machine can do to a machine, and putting our humans on the two things that actually move the needle: the strategy behind a story and the trust behind a relationship.
That is what PitchCentric is. A booking‑intelligence platform for founders and comms teams. Four million shows scored by our own Pod Score and Booking Probability. AI pitch generation grounded in the actual episodes a host just recorded. Send from the client's own Gmail or Outlook inbox. Closed‑loop reply detection. A fleet of AI agents doing the SDR work, the copy work, the QA work, the analytics work, and running under the same roof as a small, senior human team.
Podcast bookings are the beachhead. The same architecture wins in earned media, thought leadership, executive briefings, and analyst relations. That is where you come in.
The Role
Founding PR Executive. Effectively a co‑founder for the agency side of the business, reporting to the CEO. You will build the retained‑services layer that sits on top of the platform. Book real clients. Deliver real placements. Hire the first strategists. Set the standard for what an AI‑native PR firm actually looks like when it is run by a professional who has done this work at a real agency before.
We are opening our Palo Alto office in July or August 2026. This role is based there. Silicon Valley clients, Silicon Valley network, Silicon Valley pace.
What you will own
The full retained‑services book. Founders, in‑house comms teams, and later B2B growth‑stage companies. Scope, pricing, contracts, delivery.
The pitch. Every story angle. Every subject line. Every follow‑up cadence. The AI writes the first draft. You raise the ceiling.
The senior media relationships. You know the reporters. You know the producers. You know when to pick up the phone. The platform makes that hour more productive; it does not replace it.
The team. First strategist, first account lead, first junior. You hire them, you train them, you decide what work stays human and what work belongs to an agent.
The playbook. Every campaign we run makes the platform smarter. You codify what worked into templates, briefs, guardrails, and prompts the fleet uses on the next client.
The category. This is a first‑of‑its‑kind offering. You will speak at events, publish research, and shape how the industry talks about AI‑native PR. The narrative is part of the job.
What we mean by AI‑first
Research, list‑building, and CRM hygiene are agent work. You will never touch Apollo directly.
Pitch copy, follow‑ups, and reply classification are agent work. You edit, approve, and take credit for the ones that ship.
QA, compliance, footer generation, and unsubscribe handling are agent work.
Reporting is real‑time and honest. Every client sees the same dashboard we do.
What is still human: choosing which story to tell, which room to tell it in, and which reporter deserves the exclusive.
You will have a seat at the platform's product table. Every friction you feel in a real campaign becomes a ticket for the engineering team. That is the loop.
Who you are
Seven to twelve years in PR. At least four at a proper agency. B2B tech or founder‑facing preferred, but we care more about craft than category.
You have booked founders onto shows that mattered to their pipeline. You can name the placements and the outcomes.
You have written a great pitch under pressure. You can also spot a bad one from across the room.
You are comfortable with AI as leverage, not threat. You have opinions on where it helps and where it lies. You will push back on us when the machine is wrong.
You want to build a firm, not just work at one. You have thought about how a modern PR practice should be run and you have been quietly frustrated that no one is doing it.
You are willing to be in the Palo Alto office. This is a Silicon Valley company. Being close to the founders we serve is not optional.
You do not need to be a technologist. You do need to be curious about the parts of your job that are about to change forever.
About PitchCentric and Centric
PitchCentric is built by Centric Labs, the AI division of Centric. Centric has offices in Palo Alto, Houston, Saudi, Dubai, and Karachi.
The product is currently in private beta with founding design partners. The engineering team is real. The platform is real. The bet is that the first agency to run natively on top of it will define the category for a decade. That agency is what you will build with us.
The offer
Founding equity. Real. Vesting standard. Details in the conversation.
Competitive base benchmarked against senior agency talent in the Valley.
The first‑hire perks that matter. Direct line to the CEO. Product influence. Media budget. Travel to the shows you need to attend.
Palo Alto office, opening this summer.
The category‑defining line on your CV that comes with being a co‑founder of the thing everyone else in your industry is about to try to imitate.
