Job Description
Reporting to our Editorial Creative Director, we’re looking for a bilingual (English/Spanish) writer who has their finger on the pulse of culture and entertainment, specifically TV and film. You will bring diverse perspectives together to create something extraordinary. This role is right for someone with a burning passion for creative work who can come up with fresh and exciting ideas that push boundaries. Delivering creative work for different channels that fits the brand’s tone of voice will be essential to your success.

The salary range for this position is $64,000-75,000 USD annually.

Responsibilities

Create organic social content that achieves high social engagement.

Demonstrate how to bring cultural movements and trends to your work and ensuring that your ideas are fresh.

Take briefs and quickly spin insightful ideas from it bringing your own creative insights, producing ideas on the spot, expressing your ideas with conviction.

Be a fast and out-of-the-box idea generator to concept/create everything from brand campaigns, to a content series, to a clever reactive post.

Stay ahead of the curve by keeping up with the latest design trends, digital innovations, and social media best practices, and keep up to date with creator culture in social media.

Differentiate large campaign ideas and a tactical projects, and accomplish both.

Strategize and brainstorm across a full suite of social content: static assets, short and longform video (Reels, TikTok and longer scripted pieces), GIPHY stickers, GIFs, memes.

Build relationships with your creative leads (and clients) with excellent work.

Create top-level campaign ideas and write social posts.

Brainstorm / spar with clients and team members daily, and hold your own in the best interest of the work and the goals of the brief.

Solve challenges head-on, find unique solutions, and transform complex concepts into engaging visuals or campaigns.

Stay ahead of the curve by keeping up with the latest design trends, digital innovations, and social media best practices.

Qualifications

Fully fluent in Spanish and English – spoken and written

3+ years of agency experience, delivering social content that achieves high engagement.

High literacy across social platforms.

Understand Gen-Z audiences on a cultural level.

Experience leading a conceptually led shoot and oversee design through to execution.

Production experience, you understand your role in production and post production - collaborate with a DP, editor, VFX, VO record, colorist.
