Annual base salary ranges from $129,200 to $271,700 depending on location, qualifications, skills, and experience.

WHO YOU'LL WORK WITH You will collaborate daily with Footwear and Apparel Designers, Developers, and Product Line Managers to deliver creative solutions that align with the NikeSKIMS Design Ethos. Strong collaborative skills are essential to meet timelines, ensure feasibility, and build consensus around your work.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR An experienced Expert Designer in Footwear & Apparel Color who can elevate the consumer product experience and drive an emotional connection through narrative and storytelling.
RESPONSIBILITIES Drive trend-relevant, narrative-driven color concepts at the product and collection level.
Collaborate across design, development, and manufacturing teams to ensure color excellence.
Research and apply cutting‑edge color trends, consumer insights, and product knowledge.
Translate complex insights into authentic narratives and compelling solutions.
QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's degree in Design or related field, or equivalent combination of education, experience, or training.
8+ years of progressively challenging Color design experience.
Demonstrated knowledge of Macintosh computers using Photoshop, Free Hand, and/or Illustrator.
Proficiency with digital tools (e.g., Midjourney, Vizcom, NewArc).
Knowledge of CAD programs, preferably in a Mac environment.
Strong aesthetic sensibility and high taste level.
Understanding of color trends, mixing, compatibility, and placement.
Knowledge of product design and development processes for apparel and/or footwear.
Familiarity with manufacturing processes including materials/fabrics, plastics, and pigments.
Strong verbal, written, visual, and high‑profile communication skills.
Ability to understand challenges, share ideas, develop responses, and elevate concerns to higher management.
Ability to work independently and cooperatively in a diverse group.
Network, influence, and utilize internal and external resources effectively.
Ability to articulate how color can affect product and sales.
