Overview
Our team is part of CGI's Global Marketing and Communications corporate service, providing dedicated support to the U.S. Commercial and State & Local Government strategic business unit. We are 20+ Marketing Communications professionals, delivering brand awareness, account based marketing, business development enablement, employee and executive communications, market research and analysis, and many other strategic services that help grow our business.

What You’ll Do
Portfolio Narrative & Market Positioning

Develop and maintain a clear, compelling narrative that communicates the value of CGI's commercial software portfolio, highlighting both our solutions and the strength of the teams delivering them

Ensure consistent positioning and messaging across all marketing channels, sales materials, and both client facing and internal communications

Partner with product marketing managers to align individual product messaging into a cohesive portfolio story, while preserving product level differentiation

Collaborate with marketing Centers of Excellence to execute effective MarCom plans that raise awareness and support business development

Business Development Enablement

Partner with business development teams to develop messaging and materials that clearly articulate the value of CGI's software portfolio in client conversations

Support account and deal based marketing efforts by aligning portfolio level narratives to specific client needs and opportunities

Contribute to executive presentations, client facing materials, and industry events to reinforce CGI's position as a trusted software provider

Leadership Alignment & Strategic Coordination

Participate as a member of the Commercial Solutions Leadership Team, contributing a marketing perspective to portfolio strategy and priorities

Partner closely with Business Development and Operations leaders to align marketing efforts with pipeline priorities, operational goals, and growth initiatives

Provide regular updates and insights to leadership on messaging effectiveness, market feedback, and opportunities to strengthen CGI's software positioning

Help connect strategic priorities to marketing execution, ensuring alignment across product, sales, and marketing teams

Cross Product Alignment & Strategy

Serve as a central point of coordination across product marketing teams to ensure alignment and consistency in how CGI's software portfolio is positioned

Leverage market, client, and competitive insights to refine messaging and identify opportunities for differentiation

Help define processes, frameworks, and best practices for portfolio marketing within CGI

Operate with a high degree of ownership in a fast-evolving environment, helping to shape and mature this new role over time

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree plus 2-7 years of experience in B2B marketing, product marketing, or related roles, preferably in technology services, enterprise software, or consulting

Experience developing messaging and positioning for technology products or solutions, with the ability to synthesize multiple offerings into a cohesive narrative

Strong understanding of go to market strategy and marketing execution across channels

Proven ability to translate complex concepts into clear, client focused messaging and content

Experience supporting business development through marketing assets, campaigns, or deal based marketing

Experience working with or supporting senior leadership teams, with the ability to translate strategic priorities into marketing approaches

Ability to operate effectively in a matrixed organization, collaborating with stakeholders across marketing, product, and sales teams

Self-starter mindset with the ability to work independently, manage ambiguity, and help define new processes and ways of working

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Proficiency in marketing tools (CRM, PowerPoint, Excel, HubSpot, analytics dashboards); experience with Workfront project management is a plus but not required

Energetic, creative, and solutions oriented approach

Flexibility to travel, as needed

Compensation Range
$56,600.00 – $125,400.00
