About the Role
We are seeking a highly organized, coachable, and enthusiastic PR Account Coordinator to join our fast-paced agency team specializing in the beverage and hospitality space. This is an entry-level role designed for a self-starter who is passionate about public relations, media relations, and storytelling. You will support multiple account teams by handling daily account operations, media tracking, and client reporting.

Key Responsibilities

Media List Building: Research and build accurate, targeted media lists for specific clients using PR databases (e.g., Cision, Muck Rack).

Media Monitoring: Monitor daily news cycles and client coverage; compile and distribute daily or weekly coverage reports and clip books.

Pitching: Assist senior staff by drafting and distributing press releases, media alerts, and targeted pitches.

Meeting Coordination: Schedule client calls, draft agendas, and take detailed meeting notes with clear action items.

Reporting: Create timely campaign wrap-up reports and assist in evaluating media metrics.

Administrative Support: Maintain account trackers, client files, and sample inventories to keep teams organized.

Industry Research: Conduct competitor and industry research to support new business pitches and campaign brainstorming.

Copywriting: Draft first drafts of supporting content, such as bylined articles, award submissions, and social media captions.

Qualifications

Age Requirement: Must be 21 years of age or older to legally handle and manage alcohol samples.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or a closely related field.

Experience: Relatable PR agency internship or previous communications experience preferred.

Writing Skills: Excellent writing and editing skills with a strict attention to detail.

Tech Savviness: Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, Google Workspace; familiarity with PR tools like Muck Rack, Cision, or Coverage Book is a plus.

Soft Skills: Exceptional organizational and time-management skills; ability to juggle multiple clients and deadlines in a dynamic environment.
