Production Technician

Cardinal Staffing Services is hiring a Production Technician for a global leader in specialty chemicals, industrial gases, and refrigerant solutions. In this role, you'll safely fill, inspect, handle, and track compressed gas cylinders while operating production equipment in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Training on 1st shift: Monday- Friday- 7:00 am- 3:30 pm. Candidates must be able to move to 2nd shift Monday- Friday 3:00 pm- 11:30 pm.
Responsibilities of the Production Technician:

Fill and inspect compressed gas cylinders following safety and quality standards.
Operate production equipment, including compressors, pumps, filling stations, forklifts, and hoists.
Monitor equipment, perform minor troubleshooting, and maintain accurate production records.
Examine incoming cylinders for defects or damage before filling.
Safely handle compressed gas products and maintain a clean work area.
Required Qualifications of the Production Technician:

High school diploma or GED.
Manufacturing or production experience preferred.
Strong mechanical aptitude and basic computer skills.
EPA 608 Certification or ability to obtain within 6 months.
Forklift/overhead crane experience preferred.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work indoors/outdoors.
