Social Media Manager - Hybrid

Develop engaging, platform-specific stories that promotes Wellesley student life and educational experience, alumnae success, faculty research and other College priorities.
Track and analyze social media metrics to help shape strategy and optimize engagement.
Work with counterpart in WCAA and Wellesley magazine to support their social presence
Engage with and respond to inquiries/comments on various social platforms in a timely manner.
Monitor social media conversations, address and report complaints, insensitive content, copyright infringements, negative press, etc.
Stay current on social media trends.
Follow best practices for accessibility compliance
Serve as a strategic partner to campus partners.
Manage student workers
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree and minimum 5 years experience developing platform-specific stories and managing social media accounts
Skills and Abilities:
Excited by social media storytelling
Ability to create engaging social media content using photos, videos, and graphics
Ability to analyze key performance metrics and report on social media analytics
Excellent knowledge of social media trends and best practices
Working knowledge of a variety of creative applications, including Photoshop, Canva, and CapCut.
Strong writing and editing skills with keen attention to detail
Excellent time management and ability meet deadlines
Ability to work independently
Ability to collaborate with a variety of constituencies including various College departments, students, and faculty
Excellent communication, organizational, and problem solving skills
Excellent understanding of and appreciation for the College's mission
Flexibility & Schedule: We value a collaborative hybrid environment. Our standard schedule includes three days on campus to connect with the team, with two days of remote work.
