Who We’re Looking For

We’re looking for a

seasoned Senior Content Writer / Sub-Editor

with

5–10 years of experience

in entertainment journalism. This role goes beyond writing—it requires strong editorial judgment, content planning, and the ability to manage and elevate content quality at scale.
If you live and breathe entertainment—across Bollywood, Hollywood, TV, OTT, and regional cinema—and understand what drives audience engagement, this role is for you.
Key Responsibilities

Own and drive

content quality, output, and traffic targets

for assigned categories.
Write, edit, and oversee entertainment content to ensure

accuracy, speed, and engagement

.
Identify trends, breaking news, and high-potential topics to maximize reach and traffic.
Interpret and cover

box office numbers, predictions, and industry trends

with authority.
Manage and refine content pipelines, ensuring timely publishing and editorial consistency.
Leverage

PR relationships

to secure interviews, exclusives, and media opportunities.
Collaborate across teams to optimize content for

SEO, social media, and discoverability

.
Contribute innovative ideas to grow Koimoi’s presence across platforms.
Be flexible with work hours, given the dynamic nature of entertainment news.
Experience & Skills

5–10 years of experience

in entertainment content writing/editing for leading online entertainment platforms.
Experience in a

sub-editorial or content management role

is strongly preferred.
Experience in writing for an American audience and a good understanding of

American entertainment & pop culture
Excellent command of

English, grammar, and editorial standards

.
Strong

editing and proofreading skills

—ability to polish content before publication.
Experienced in WordPress publishing
Understanding of

SEO, social media trends, and audience behavior

.
Ability to

prioritize high-impact content

in a fast-paced news environment.
Strong network within the

entertainment PR ecosystem

is a plus.
