Graphic Designer

Global Financial Firm located in GETZVILLE, NY has an immediate contract opportunity for an experienced Graphic Designer
Work Mode: Hybrid

Pay rate range: $30.00 - $32.00 Negotiable based upon years of experience

Responsibilities:

Produce a variety of live deal collateral such as pitch books, deal books, covers, templates, and infographics using MS Office and Adobe applications.

Assist with the production of creative PowerPoint pitch books and offer conceptual and visual solutions to enhance client materials, including motion graphics.

Trace and produce logos, maps, and illustrations.

Ensure all materials produced are correctly branded according to company standards and advise clients on brand usage.

Liaise directly with workflow staff and clients to determine deadlines, job instructions, and design requirements.

Complete related administrative tasks for department purposes, including accurate work billing and job tracking.

Perform quality control when required and assist colleagues with QC tasks.

Partner with new starters post-training.

Contribute to best production practices through internal initiatives and programs.

Requirements:

Minimum 2 years of administrative/operational support experience in a corporate, service-oriented environment, ideally in a financial institution.

Advanced knowledge of industry-standard graphic design applications.

Preferred Skills:

Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, and Word).

Intermediate knowledge of Adobe CC Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Acrobat Professional).

Knowledge of MapInfo, Adobe Animate, Adobe Audition, and Blender is an advantage.

Knowledge of external print processes is desirable.
