The Senior Marketing Communications Coordinator plays a critical role in advancing the Firm’s visibility, reputation, and client engagement. This multifaceted position blends strategic communication, creative content development, and project management to support a wide range of initiatives including RFP/RFQ responses, social media campaigns, email marketing, and blog administration. The Senior Coordinator works collaboratively across departments and statewide teams to ensure the consistency and quality of the Firm’s messaging and brand presence.
Qualifications
REQUIRED
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, English, Business, Public Relations, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
2+ years of experience in marketing, communications, business development, public relations, or a professional services environment.
Exceptional writing, editing, proofreading, and verbal communication skills with meticulous attention to detail.
Demonstrated ability to coordinate multiple projects, balance competing priorities, and consistently meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Strong organizational, project management, critical thinking, and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Proven ability to build effective relationships with attorneys, clients, colleagues, and external partners while delivering exceptional client service.
Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and experience using marketing technologies such as Adobe Creative Cloud, Canva, WordPress or other content management systems, email marketing platforms, social media platforms, Google Analytics, etc.
Ability and enthusiasm to quickly learn new technologies, including AI and marketing automation tools, and apply them to improve workflows and marketing effectiveness.
PREFERRED
Experience in legal marketing, business development, or another professional services environment.
Experience coordinating RFPs, RFQs, proposals, presentations, and other business development initiatives.
Experience coordinating digital marketing campaigns, website content, webinars, client events, public relations, attorney thought leadership, awards, rankings, and legal directories.
Familiarity with CRM, proposal management, marketing automation, project management, or analytics platforms.
Duties/Responsibilities
Coordinate the development of marketing and business development content across digital and print platforms, including website content, attorney biographies, representative matters, newsletters, client alerts, blogs, press releases, presentations, marketing collateral, and social media.
Coordinate and execute email marketing campaigns, digital communications, and social media initiatives that strengthen engagement and support the Firm's strategic goals.
Coordinate attorney thought leadership initiatives, including article publication, public relations opportunities, award submissions, legal directories, rankings, speaking opportunities, and website content updates.
Prepare customized marketing materials and collateral that support client meetings, conferences, business development efforts, and brand consistency.
Coordinate the end‑to‑end development of RFPs, RFQs, RFIs, interview materials, and other competitive proposals by partnering with attorneys and stakeholders to gather content, organize project timelines, develop graphics and presentations, and ensure timely, high‑quality submissions.
Coordinate and maintain the Firm's proposal resources, content library, proposal metrics, and business development materials to support future growth and continuous improvement.
Serve as a responsive marketing resource by coordinating client inquiries, marketing requests, and cross‑functional projects with professionalism and exceptional client service.
Coordinate the maintenance of marketing assets, digital collateral, workshop materials, and brand resources to ensure quality, consistency, and alignment with Firm standards.
Coordinate marketing research, campaign reporting, and performance tracking while identifying opportunities to improve processes, enhance the client experience, and strengthen marketing effectiveness.
Explore emerging marketing technologies, AI tools, automation, and industry best practices, recommending innovative solutions that improve efficiency, collaboration, and the Firm's overall marketing program.
Provide general marketing and administrative support and serve as a collaborative member of the Marketing & Training team, contributing wherever needed to support Firm priorities.
