Digital Content Creator

Overview

The Digital Content Creator is responsible for all visual storytelling across Detwiler’s digital platforms. This role will produce and edit high-energy video content for Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and internal marketing efforts, as well as meet photography needs throughout the company. This person must be a creative thinker, a natural storyteller, highly personable, and a passionate fan of the Detwiler’s brand.
Responsibilities

Content Creation: Produce and edit daily video content for TikTok, Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube Shorts.
Capture long-form YouTube content with strong storytelling and pacing.
Film in-store content with staff, customers, and vendors.
Photograph weekly ad items and social media images.
Edit videos quickly for social formats and trends.
Create content ideas that support holidays, promotions, and product launches.
Provide well organized files for easy content management.
Create high-energy content for our internal teams.
Brand & Creative Development

Bring big, fresh ideas that match Detwiler’s fun, family-forward energy.
Collaborate with marketing team on campaign ideas.
Take direction and feedback well and revise quickly.
Study the brand voice and work to elevate our storytelling consistently.
Work with store teams to capture real moments and promote our products every week.
Collaborate with the marketing team on scheduling and posting to ensure all content deliverables arrive on time and are up to our standards.
Assist with photographing events, behind-the-scenes, and community stories.
Requirements

Proven experience creating social-first content (professional or personal portfolio) with a strong understanding of trends on TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube.
Ability to shoot on both iPhone and DSLR/mirrorless equipment.
Comfortable being outgoing, interacting with people, and directing talent.
Open to feedback and iteration.
Highly self-motivated, resourceful, and energized by fast-paced environments.
