The Entertainment Technician is responsible for the set-up, execution and maintenance of entertainment venue sound, lighting and video equipment for concerts as well as corporate events.
Responsibilities
Where You'll Make an Impact
Setting up and operating venue audio, video, staging, and lighting systems for concerts and corporate events.
Trouble shooting and problem identification during events; recognize, repair and maintain.
Ensuring the safety and security of all guests, entertainers and team members/employees.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Skills You'll Need to Succeed
Experience with speaker systems, FOH/monitor consoles, and mic systems inclusive of conference systems.
Lighting Experience: Concert and corporate lighting, programming moving light fixtures.
Experience working with musical acts of all calibers and genres.
Basic video experience.
Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills.
Ability to read instructions and schematic diagrams.
Strong written and oral communication skills.
Ability to perform assigned duties under frequent time pressure in an interruptive environment.
Experience working with corporate clients as well as national and regional touring acts.
Strong knowledge of Apple and Windows operating systems.
A Few Must Haves
One (1) to three (3) years of experience with set up and handling aspects of audio, video and lighting.
Proven venue experience is preferred.
Sound and light engineering or related experience preferred.

Physical Requirements
Must be able to lift and/or push up to 80lbs.
Must be able to work standing for up to 4 hours at a time.
Must be able to work in small, confined areas.
Must be able to bend at the waist
Must be able to reach above the head.
