Sales Coordinator (Direct Hire)

We are seeking a

Sales Coordinator

for an excellent Direct Hire opportunity with our client, in

Vernon Hills, IL

. This role supports a growing Sales Department in a manufacturing and distribution environment.

$55,000 - $65,000 annually , depending on experience.
Hybrid schedule with

one remote day per week .
Monday-Friday schedule:

8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

with a one-hour lunch.
Collaborative Sales Department
General Responsibilities of a Sales Coordinator

Manage B2B and internal communications.
Process customer quotes and sales orders.
Process purchase orders and receipts.
Review customer contracts and documentation.
Provide shipping instructions and coordinate order fulfillment activities.
Support the sales closing process and related administrative functions.
Maintain accurate records, documentation, and customer information.
Communicate with customers, vendors, and internal departments as needed.
Perform various clerical, administrative, and project-based duties assigned by management.
Ideal Background for a Sales Coordinator

Experience in Sales Support, Customer Service, Inside Sales, Order Management, or a related role.
Manufacturing industry experience strongly

preferred.
Experience working with machinery, industrial parts, wholesale distribution, supply chain, or related industries preferred.
Understanding of order processing, customer support, and sales administration functions.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
Ability to think critically, multitask, and problem-solve in a fast-paced environment.
Technical Skills

Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong Excel skills required, including working with large spreadsheets
Ability to sort, filter, manage, and export data efficiently.
SAP experience preferred.
Salesforce experience is a plus but not required.
Experience with similar ERP systems will also be considered.
Education Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent required.
