Job Summary

We are looking for a creative and passionate Game Designer to design engaging gameplay experiences for mobile, PC, console, or web-based games. The ideal candidate will combine creativity, player psychology, storytelling, and game mechanics to create immersive and enjoyable gaming experiences. You will collaborate with artists, developers, producers, and QA teams throughout the game development lifecycle to bring innovative game concepts to life.

Key Responsibilities
Design and develop game concepts, mechanics, systems, levels, and player progression.
Create and maintain detailed Game Design Documents (GDDs), gameplay specifications, and feature documentation.
Design game rules, balance gameplay mechanics, and optimize player engagement.
Develop quests, missions, characters, rewards, achievements, and in-game economies.
Prototype gameplay features and iterate based on testing and player feedback.
Collaborate with game developers, artists, UI/UX designers, writers, and audio teams to implement game features.
Analyze gameplay metrics, player behavior, and feedback to improve game balance and retention.
Participate in playtesting sessions and refine game mechanics based on results.
Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitor games.
Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Game Design, Computer Science, Multimedia, Interactive Media, Animation, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
2-5 years of experience in game design or game development.
Strong understanding of game design principles, player psychology, and gameplay mechanics.
Experience creating Game Design Documents (GDDs) and gameplay specifications.
Knowledge of game development pipelines and production workflows.
Familiarity with game engines such as Unity or Unreal Engine.
Basic understanding of scripting or programming concepts.
Strong communication, creativity, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications

Experience designing mobile, PC, console, multiplayer, or live-service games.
Familiarity with level design tools and visual scripting systems.
Knowledge of game balancing, monetization strategies, and player retention techniques.
Experience with Agile or Scrum development methodologies.
Understanding of UI/UX principles for games.
