Sales and Promotions Assistant – Portland Media Group
Portland Media Group is hiring a Sales and Promotions Assistant to support our team of marketing professionals. This role is structured for someone who is organized, detail-oriented, and ready to help local businesses grow. You will work closely with Media Advisors to coordinate campaigns, prepare client materials, and ensure excellent client service.
You will be involved in many aspects of the sales process—from preparing presentations and proposals to coordinating campaign execution and supporting client communications. If you enjoy staying organized, solving problems, and contributing to a team that helps businesses succeed, you will thrive here.
Your desk will be at the front desk, greeting visitors including local musicians, celebrities, politicians, and business owners. You will also play a vital role in the promotions department, helping create content for websites and social media, organizing contests, planning and executing events, and supporting day-to-day activities. You will work collaboratively with the Promotions Director and Directors of Content to support eight radio brands.

Responsibilities

Support Media Advisors with client proposals, presentations and sales materials.
Assist with order entry, account maintenance and campaign coordination.
Communicate with clients regarding schedules, materials and campaign details.
Generate reports and gather information for client meetings and reviews.
Coordinate with programming, promotions, digital and traffic departments to ensure campaigns run smoothly.
Help maintain CRM records and sales activity tracking.
Support station events, client functions and sales initiatives.
Qualifications

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and common business software.
A positive attitude, willingness to learn and strong follow-through.
Experience in customer service, administration, marketing or sales support is preferred.
