Florida Housing Finance Corporation is recruiting for two business professionals to join our team as Multifamily Programs Coordinators. The preferred candidates are self-starters with experience managing a diverse workload that also works well in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Direct supervision of Managers.
Management of a development portfolio that includes tracking deadlines and development progress to ensure developments meet federal, state, and corporation requirements.
Oversees and provides guidance on issuing invitations, commitment letters, and extension requests.
Monitors data within an online database.
Oversees and reviews draw requests.
Coordinates and reviews Board package items.
Ensures tracking spreadsheets are maintained accurately and timely.
Mentors and coaches Managers providing support regarding processes and procedures.
Scores applications.
Responds to routine questions from stakeholders.
Direct supervision of two Managers.
Management of a development portfolio that includes credit underwriting and loan closings to ensure developments meet federal, state, and corporation requirements.
Reviews, analyzes, and comments on credit underwriting reports and loan closing documents.
Oversees and provides guidance on issuing resolutions and letters specific to the Bond Program.
Oversees and manages hearing notices and Fiscal Determination Committee meetings.
Coordinates and reviews Board package items.
Oversees execution of signature pages for Bond closings.
Scores applications.
Responds to routine questions from stakeholders.
Position requirements
Successful candidates will be or will have
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in a role(s) with increasing levels of responsibility in a professional office setting.
Demonstrated leadership or supervisory experience.
Critical thinking skills.
Highly organized and detail oriented.
Ability to prioritize tasks and thrive in a busy deadline-driven multitasking, fast-paced office environment.
Ability to understand and apply applicable rules, regulations, policies, and procedures.
Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing.
Works well individually and as part of a team.
Experience with analyzing numbers and/or data (preferred).
Experience with preparation and/or review of legal documentation (preferred).
Experience with credit underwriting, commercial real estate lending, accounting, financial compliance, and/or another related field (preferred).
Extensive knowledge of, and experience using Microsoft Office Suite and online collaboration/database tools.
This is an in-person position in the Tallahassee office of Florida Housing Finance Corporation. We do not offer remote work options.

Salary and benefits
Anticipated hiring salary is $70,000 - $76,000 annually, commensurate with experience. Florida Housing provides a comprehensive benefits package including health, life, dental, vision, short and long-term disability insurance, and other programs. Paid vacation, sick and personal leave; 11 paid holidays; and 401/457 retirement accounts.
