About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled

SOX Analyst

to support a large-scale

Oracle Cloud Fusion implementation . This individual will play a key role in ensuring SOX compliance is embedded throughout the project lifecycle while partnering closely with IT, business stakeholders, and external auditors.

This is an ideal opportunity for someone who understands both the strategic and tactical aspects of IT controls, audit readiness, risk management, and compliance within complex enterprise environments.

Key Responsibilities

Support IT SOX compliance efforts for Oracle Cloud Fusion implementations across HR and Finance platforms.

Design and assess IT General Controls (ITGCs) related to access management, change management, and data migration.

Review role design, user provisioning processes, and Segregation of Duties (SoD) controls.

Evaluate downstream SOX impacts related to integrations, interfaces, and system changes.

Collect, organize, and validate audit evidence to support internal and external audits.

Maintain audit-ready documentation throughout project execution.

Participate in auditor walkthroughs, testing activities, and compliance reviews.

Track control deficiencies, remediation plans, testing status, and risk mitigation efforts.

Partner with business and IT teams to ensure compliance requirements are incorporated into project activities.

Provide clear status reporting and compliance updates to leadership stakeholders.

Required Qualifications

Experience supporting SOX compliance, SOX 404, ITGC, or IT controls programs .

Hands-on experience with Oracle Cloud Fusion

(ERP, HCM, or related modules).

Strong understanding of:

Access Management

User Provisioning

Segregation of Duties (SoD)

Change Management Controls

Data Migration Controls

Risk & Compliance Frameworks

Experience supporting audits, walkthroughs, and control testing activities.

Strong communication skills with the ability to work across technical and business teams.

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced implementation environment.

Preferred Qualifications

Prior experience with Oracle Cloud Fusion implementation projects.

Big 4 consulting or audit experience (Deloitte, KPMG, EY, PwC).

Experience with audit documentation, compliance reporting, and remediation management.

Exposure to cloud compliance, governance, risk, and controls programs.

Familiarity with Smartsheet or other risk‑management tools.
