General Function
The Production Supervisor is responsible for the day-to-day activities to achieve the established metrics and standards for safety, quality, production, customer service, and people management. The role includes developing high-performing teams, acting as a change agent and continuous improvement driver, and building a best-in-class working environment. Leads production teams to achieve daily goals and objectives.

Major Duties and Responsibilities

Have working knowledge of all aspects within the manufacturing area.

Monitor and evaluate productivity through team and individual metrics.

Actively participate in continuous improvement processes and coach employees on initiatives.

Communicate our unique selling proposition and its benefits to the team and to potential and existing accounts.

Communicate company policies and procedures to the team.

Manage and coach employees with timely performance reviews and proper documentation of performance issues.

Schedule vacation hours effectively, considering seasonality workloads.

Maintain production and machine maintenance records and charting.

Communicate with offsite vendors to troubleshoot office and lab machine errors using remote interfaces.

Maintain relationships with internal and external accounts, address product information and Rx service issues, and render decisions on company policies and procedures.

Foster motivation, teamwork, and a positive workplace culture.

Keep work area neat, clean, and organized.

Follow all company and manufacturer policies and safety rules; maintain confidentiality of proprietary and HIPAA-protected information.

Assist others to meet deadlines, maintain workload balance, and perform quality work on time.

Provide training, direction, and technical guidance for less experienced coworkers; attend in-house or sponsored training as needed.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications

High School diploma, GED or equivalent work experience

4 years of experience in a manufacturing environment

Ability to solve problems involving multiple departments

Proficiency in all aspects of lab manufacturing

Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) and related software

Good interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills

Excellent leadership skills with the ability to maintain an even workflow and motivate others

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

Manage interactions with internal and external customers

Preferred Qualifications

Prior supervisory experience is a plus

Pay Range: $24.00 per hour plus differential
