This position is a part-time appointment (50% Career) with a hybrid schedule, combining on-site work at Towne Centre Drive with remote work where applicable.
Description

The Program Manager, Outreach manages strategic outreach projects to advance the mission of the Jacobs Center for Health Innovation (JCHI) and the West Health Accelerator (WHA). Develops and implements integrated communications programs and events designed to enhance visibility, promote the mission, and foster ongoing dialogue with key stakeholders, partners, and audiences. Responsibilities include crafting and executing a comprehensive outreach strategy to effectively engage JCHI\'s community and drive the impact of JCHI’s initiatives.
Responsibilities

Lead outreach strategies designed to engage stakeholders and drive program success for JCHI and WHA
Consult with senior leadership to create, develop, and implement long- and short-term strategic outreach plans and effective messaging
Track and analyze performance of outreach strategies, projects, and initiatives
Provide expertise to position JCHI as a leader in health innovation and create tools for positioning with clients, partners, and other stakeholders
Coordinate the production of broad-based communication pieces in writing, visuals, and electronic formats
Monitor JCHI\'s and WHA\'s email and social media accounts and track their performance
Consult with product teams to create communications strategies and content for product development and launches
Oversee the production of symposia, conferences, and other events
May serve as a team or project lead and mentor less experienced staff and students
Develop and manage outreach program budgets and track costs
Minimum Qualifications

Nine (9) years of related experience, or a Bachelor\'s degree in a related area plus five (5) years of related experience/training. Related experience: communications, web development, event planning, and marketing-specific experience
Requires basic knowledge of project management principles, theories, and concepts
Requires ability to assess needs for information technology products and design services to meet those needs
Working knowledge of technology-related initiatives and their impact on the organization
Demonstrated capacity to anticipate obstacles and plan contingencies
Attention to detail; ability to determine relevance and prioritize tasks
Effective writing skills
Competency in selecting and implementing project management methods and techniques
Broad knowledge of technology-related initiatives and their organizational impact
Proven leadership ability and problem-solving skills; ability to present persuasive arguments
Strong ability to track effort and project progress; highly developed organizational and project management skills; ability to analyze projects of broad scope
Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of an organization
Experience leading a team of technology professionals
Advanced knowledge of computing and communications, including hardware infrastructure, networking, software, operations, and disaster recovery
Ability to integrate critical information across disciplines and relate projects to broader business strategies
Preferred Qualifications

Background in journalism and/or corporate communications
Experience creating and managing website content
Experience working in an academic medical center

Must be able to work varying hours and locations based on business needs

Pay and Benefits Information

Pay Transparency Act: Annual Full Pay Range: $108,100 - $204,900 (will be prorated if appointment percentage is less than 100%). Hourly equivalent: $51.77 - $98.13. The hiring pay scale is the budgeted salary or hourly range the University reasonably expects to pay; the Annual Full Pay Range may be broader based on internal equity, budget, and applicable collective bargaining agreements.
