Sales Representative (Entry-Level Friendly) – Start ASAP (Training Provided)

Overview
A full-time, on-site Sales Representative role based in Houston, TX, with an entry-level friendly path and an ASAP start.

Responsibilities
The Sales Representative will engage prospective and existing clients, present solutions, and communicate the value of Aegon’s consulting and marketing services in a clear, professional manner. Day-to-day responsibilities include generating and qualifying leads, scheduling and conducting client meetings, giving in-person or virtual presentations, and following up consistently to move opportunities through the sales pipeline. The role involves collaborating with marketing and consulting teams to understand offerings, tailor pitches, and provide feedback from the field. The Sales Representative will also maintain accurate records in CRM tools, meet or exceed sales goals, participate in training and coaching sessions, and represent the company at events or client visits as needed.

Qualifications

Strong communication, active listening, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and explain solutions clearly.

Sales aptitude including prospecting, basic negotiation, objection handling, and closing skills; prior sales or customer-facing experience is a plus but not required.

Goal-oriented mindset with resilience, persistence, and a willingness to learn from feedback and coaching.

Organizational and time management skills, including the ability to manage multiple leads, follow-ups, and tasks in a structured way.

Comfort working in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment and collaborating within cross-functional teams.

Proficiency with basic digital tools (email, spreadsheets, presentation software; CRM experience preferred but can be trained).

High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field is a plus.

Ability to work on-site in Houston, TX, and travel locally for client meetings or events as needed.
