Role Overview

Associate Designer, Wrangler Women’s – part of the Wrangler Global Traditional team. Supports design activities from concept to pre‑production for Wrangler Women’s products.
Responsibilities

Work with manager to design key items aligned with seasonal concepts and color palettes.
Conduct market research on inspirational and competitor brands, translate research into seasonal designs.
Collaborate with managing designer on fabrics, trims, washes within cost parameters.
Create accurate flat sketches and detailed technical sketches for technical packages.
Build and recolor yarn‑dyes and basic prints for seasonal collections.
Communicate with third‑party contractors for print artwork briefs and development.
Collaborate with technical designers to produce specs and troubleshoot product development issues to meet deadlines.
Attend fit meetings, provide detailed feedback for construction to technical team and Asia partners.
Track virtual and physical prototypes; support design presentations and decks; maintain design cadsheets and development tracker.
Assist in approving color lab dials, strike‑offs, and handlooms; document notes in prototypes and fit reviews.
Travel domestically as required for fit meetings and production oversight.
Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in apparel design, art, graphics or related field.
2‑3 years of professional experience in apparel design.
Knowledge of sourcing fabrics, trims, garment construction, fit, finishing, and washing.
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop). Flat sketching and technical pack creation skills.
Familiarity with V‑Stitcher/3D design preferred.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
Strong written and verbal communication, ownership, problem‑solving, creativity, attention to detail.
Highly organized, capable of multitasking, flexible, and collaborative.
Positive attitude and team player mindset.
