Video Content Creator

Based in Cape Town and working remotely as a contractor, the Video Content Creator will develop, shoot, and edit engaging social-first video content for advertising and brand campaigns, collaborating closely with the Marketing Video Lead and the wider creative team.
Key responsibilities

Create and appear in various social video formats, including UGC-style ads, explainers, and skits
Research and deconstruct successful paid social ads to generate innovative video concepts and scripts
Shape, shoot, and edit video content using tools like Premiere Pro and Figma, ensuring high-quality production standards

Required qualifications

3+ years of experience in content creation, social video production, or a similar role
A portfolio showcasing on-camera performance and UGC-style video creation
Strong understanding of social media platforms and short-form video formats
Proficiency in Premiere Pro and familiarity with Figma for storyboarding
Curiosity about AI tools and their application in video content production
