BusPatrol is seeking a strategic, highly collaborative, and execution-oriented Senior Product Marketing Manager to lead product marketing initiatives across our portfolio of school safety, transportation technology, AI, and public-sector solutions. This role will serve as the primary bridge between Product Management, Sales, Customer Success, Government Relations, Marketing, Revenue Operations, and Executive Leadership to ensure our products are positioned effectively, launched successfully, and continuously differentiated in the market.
As the Senior Product Marketing Manager, you will own the development and execution of product marketing strategy across the product lifecycle—from market research and positioning through commercialization, launch, competitive strategy, and sales enablement. You will play a critical role in shaping how BusPatrol brings products to market while translating complex technologies into compelling customer value propositions that resonate with school districts, municipalities, law enforcement agencies, transportation providers, and other public‑sector organizations.
This role is ideal for an experienced product marketing leader who thrives in high‑growth environments, enjoys building scalable programs, and is equally comfortable developing long‑term strategy and executing day‑to‑day initiatives that drive measurable business results.
Key Responsibilities Own BusPatrol's product marketing strategy across the product portfolio.
Develop differentiated positioning, messaging, and value propositions that clearly communicate customer value and competitive differentiation.
Partner with Product Leadership to influence product roadmap decisions using customer, market, and competitive insights.
Develop messaging frameworks that support customer acquisition, expansion, retention, and new market entry.
Ensure consistent messaging across all customer‑facing channels and internal stakeholders.
Lead cross‑functional go‑to‑market strategy for new product launches, feature releases, market expansions, and strategic initiatives.
Build commercialization plans that align Product, Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, Revenue Operations, and Executive Leadership.
Define launch success metrics and monitor product adoption, market penetration, and business performance following launch.
Continuously optimize launch strategies based on customer feedback, market response, and business outcomes.
Help identify new market opportunities, customer segments, and commercialization strategies that accelerate growth.
Sales Enablement Own the strategy and development of sales enablement programs, including:
Product presentations
Messaging frameworks
Battlecards
Product one‑pagers
ROI calculators
Value‑based selling tools
Industry‑specific messaging
Partner closely with Sales Leadership and Revenue Operations to improve seller readiness, shorten sales cycles, and increase competitive win rates.
Develop and deliver enablement training that equips customer‑facing teams to confidently position BusPatrol's solutions.
Competitive Intelligence Build and maintain BusPatrol's competitive intelligence program.
Monitor competitors, industry trends, legislative developments, and emerging technologies impacting school safety and public‑sector transportation.
Conduct customer interviews, market research, and win/loss analyses to identify opportunities and inform business strategy.
Deliver actionable competitive insights and market recommendations to Product Leadership and Executive Leadership.
Serve as the organization's subject matter expert on market dynamics and customer needs.
Customer & Industry Engagement Serve as the voice of the customer throughout product planning and commercialization efforts.
Gather customer feedback and market intelligence to influence product roadmap priorities.
Partner with Customer Success to develop customer success stories and reference programs.
Represent BusPatrol at conferences, customer events, webinars, and industry forums.
Collaborate with Government Relations and Public Affairs to ensure messaging aligns with evolving legislation, policy initiatives, and public‑sector priorities.
Cross‑Functional Leadership Act as the central product marketing partner across Product Management, Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, Revenue Operations, Government Relations, Finance, and Executive Leadership.
Lead cross‑functional commercialization planning and drive alignment across multiple business functions.
Influence strategic decisions regarding pricing, packaging, positioning, customer segmentation, and market expansion.
Help establish scalable product marketing processes, templates, and best practices as BusPatrol continues to grow.
Mentor junior marketing team members and contribute to the continued development of the marketing organization.
Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
8+ years of experience in Product Marketing, Product Management, Go‑to‑Market Strategy, or related commercial leadership roles.
Demonstrated success leading enterprise product launches and commercialization initiatives.
Experience owning product positioning, messaging, competitive intelligence, and sales enablement strategy.
Strong understanding of B2B technology buying cycles and enterprise sales motions.
Experience partnering directly with executive leadership and cross‑functional stakeholders to influence strategic business decisions.
Proven ability to translate complex technical concepts into compelling customer messaging.
Strong analytical skills with experience leveraging customer, market, and business performance data to drive decisions.
Excellent written, verbal, presentation, and executive communication skills.
Demonstrated ability to lead multiple strategic initiatives simultaneously in a fast‑paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications Experience marketing B2B SaaS, AI, transportation technology, GovTech, EdTech, public safety technology, mobility, or highly regulated technology solutions.
Experience supporting school districts, municipalities, law enforcement agencies, or other government organizations.
Experience partnering with Product Management, Revenue Operations, Sales Leadership, and Customer Success organizations.
Experience developing pricing, packaging, and commercialization strategies.
Familiarity with competitive intelligence platforms, customer research methodologies, and product analytics.
MBA or other advanced business or marketing degree is a plus.
