What You’ll Do

You are the embodiment of the brand for our customers. You engage, develop, implement, and execute operational plans and policies and contribute to Patagonia’s daily front‑line retail store and customer experience activities (e.g., sales and customer service). You spend most of your time overseeing retail store and customer experience operations and engage in day‑to‑day activities that make customers happy. You will learn about our products, share your passion for the community and protect the local environment. All employees are encouraged and empowered to solve problems creatively and put the customers’ needs at the center of everything we do.
Responsibilities:
Deliver best‑in‑class service by centering the customer in everything we do.
Use company purpose and core values to guide decision making; act as brand advocate.
Participate in Activism program with 18 Activism Hours.
Learn and share product knowledge, including technical aspects of core sport products.
Process shipments, support physical inventory, restock the sales floor, and manage warehousing tasks.
Maintain visual store standards: folding, hanging, buffing, steaming, dressing mannequins, stocking floor.
Assist with event production and marketing initiatives.
Participate in ongoing training and help train new employees.
Implement security and loss prevention measures, report and resolve concerns.
Ensure accuracy in all POS operations and support Ironclad Guarantee and Worn Wear programs.
Answer phones, support front and back of house operations, and communicate with leadership.

Proven customer service and/or sales skills, preferred retail experience.

Basic math and computer skills; money handling and register use.
Physical Requirements

Stand/walk for extended periods up to 8 hours per day.
Reach overhead, bend, squat, kneel, carry items.
Walk up/down stairs carrying boxes.
Perform routine store maintenance: sweep, vacuum, empty trash, clean.
Safely lift up to 55 pounds.
Comfortable climbing ladders.
Schedule

Store open 7 days a week. Current business hours are Monday‑Saturday 10am‑6pm, Sunday 11am‑5pm. Hiring for 20‑29 hours per week with open availability Friday‑Sunday. Shifts may vary week‑to‑week but require flexibility. Open to flexible scheduling to support employees’ work‑life balance.
