Web Developer/Designer

Pay $20.00 - $25.00 per hour Schedule: Monday to Friday 9AM-5:30PM
Job Description:

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Web Developer to join our growing team. This is an in-office position where you'll work closely with other developers to build, maintain, and enhance our e-commerce platforms and websites. The ideal candidate is collaborative, enjoys problem-solving, and has experience working within shared code repositories and modern web development environments.
Responsibilities

Develop, maintain, and enhance websites and web applications.
Collaborate with other developers on shared projects using GitHub for version control.
Build and maintain WordPress websites, including WooCommerce functionality.
Develop responsive, user-friendly interfaces using Bootstrap.
Troubleshoot website issues, optimize performance, and implement new features.
Follow coding standards, naming conventions, and development best practices.
Work closely with internal team members to deliver projects accurately and on schedule.
Technical Environment

You'll primarily be working within two e-commerce platforms:
WordPress/WooCommerce
Our WordPress websites utilize the GeneratePress theme.
Our hosting environment is Kinsta.
GoEpower
Our second e-commerce platform is GoEpower, which utilizes Bootstrap for front-end development.
Required Qualifications

Experience with GitHub and collaborative development workflows.
Experience developing and maintaining WordPress websites.
Experience with WooCommerce.
Strong understanding of Bootstrap and responsive web development.
Experience working alongside other developers on the same codebase.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Preferred Qualifications

Experience with e-commerce websites and online shopping platforms.
Background in web design, UI/UX, or front-end design is a plus but not required.
Familiarity with website hosting environments and performance optimization is beneficial.

Compensation

Starting pay: $20.00–$25.00 per hour, depending on experience.
