Wowt First Alert 6 is looking for an experienced, dynamic evening anchor to be a cornerstone of our on-air team. This is not a read-the-prompter role. Duties/Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Co-anchor evening newscasts with authority, credibility, and a strong First Alert presence.
Contribute to content beyond the desk, as a working reporter developing and breaking stories, or as an editorial leader helping shape newscast content and direction.
Champion the First Alert brand on-air and in the newsroom, modeling urgency, accuracy, and viewer-focused storytelling.
Respond to breaking news with confidence and composure, leading coverage live on-air and across platforms.
Be an active part of our streaming strategy, comfortable anchoring streaming-exclusive content, special coverage, and breaking news as needed.

Excellent on-air presence and the ability to deliver news clearly, professionally, and with authority.
Strong writing skills and the ability to write accurately and creatively under deadline pressure.
