PHP developers are responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining web applications using the PHP programming language. They work closely with designers, project managers, and other developers to create functional and user-friendly websites and web-based applications.
Responsibilities Collaborate with cross-functional teams to determine project requirements and specifications
Design and develop web applications using the PHP programming language
Write clean, well-documented, and efficient code
Troubleshoot and debug issues in the existing code base
Ensure website performance and functionality meet client requirements
Integrate data storage solutions such as databases into web applications
Develop custom plugins for content management systems (CMS) like WordPress or Drupal
Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in web development
Requirements Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
Proven experience as a PHP developer or in a similar role
Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, MySQL, and SQL Server
Familiarity with MVC architecture and frameworks such as Laravel or CodeIgniter
Experience developing custom CMS plugins is preferred but not required
Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
Excellent problem‑solving skills and attention to detail
Good communication skills in English
Salary The salary for this position is $1200 per month. This is a full‑time position with accommodation provided.
