Senior Communications Practitioner - Crisis Communications

Mueller Communications, a well-established and highly regarded communications and marketing firm, is looking to meet experienced senior-level communications professionals with strong experience in crisis communications to add to its talented team. This position offers a unique opportunity to develop and lead strategy, manage teams through execution, participate in new business development efforts, and counsel clients through communications challenges from crises to awareness-building campaigns.

Mueller Communications' clients have high expectations, and we are looking for another A-player to join us in exceeding those expectations. We take a collaborative problem-solving approach and this position is ideal for someone who enjoys being part of and leading close-knit teams and is looking to grow themselves and others through mentorship and challenging client work.

What you’ll be doing:
Project & Team Management

Lead & oversee client team activities (projections, monthly planning, regular internal client reviews), ensuring appropriate staff are assigned to your projects

Client Management

Demonstrate the ability to present recommended solutions to client challenges, as well as forward-thinking, proactive growth opportunities

Demonstrate "value add" to client relationships

Crisis Communication

Oversee the initial intake, implementation, and execution of a crisis plan, including responding beyond standard business hours as necessary and always with the support of other staff

Bringing appropriate staff to the table, ensuring responses and approaches are in line with client expectations

Qualifications that will make you stand out:

10+ years of PR or communications experience, particularly with crisis communications

Positive, problem-solving attitude

Prior agency experience is a plus
