Approximately 50% within regional markets across the Pacific Northwest (OR, WA, ID), consisting of both day and overnight trips.

How You Will Contribute
The Senior Sales Director will lead enterprise sales performance in a high‑impact builder partnership between Simplicity by Hayden Homes and New Home Star. This leader contributes by driving and scaling enterprise‑level revenue performance through disciplined strategy and strong leadership of Regional Sales Managers for Simplicity by Hayden Homes. Working closely with the President of Simplicity Homes and New Home Star executive leadership, the Senior Sales Director owns companywide sales performance, forecast integrity, pricing governance, and regional sales leadership execution.

They align sales execution with operational capacity, financial objectives, and the brand promise—ensuring pricing, incentives, structure, and processes support sustainable growth, strengthening long‑term business and customer experience for our on‑your‑land builder.

Responsibilities
Enterprise Revenue Ownership & Forecast Discipline

Own and drive companywide sales results, forecasts, budgets, and revenue targets across multiple regions

Establish disciplined pipeline management and forecast accuracy standards leadership can rely on

Lead root‑cause analysis corrective action planning when performance gaps occur

Align sales commitments with operational capacity, backlog health, and financial objectives

Strategic Pricing, Incentives, & Market Positioning

Govern pricing and incentive strategies using data‑driven analysis of buyer behavior, cost structures, and competitive conditions

Identify regional growth opportunities and guide expansion strategy through market intelligence

Maintain strong external market awareness across build‑on‑your‑land segments in OR, WA, and ID

Leadership of Regional Sales Managers

Directly lead, coach, and develop Regional Sales Managers across East and West territories

Establish clear performance standards for sales results, forecast health, talent development, and customer experience execution

Drive organizational depth through structured performance reviews, leadership coaching, and succession planning

Elevate frontline New Home Advisors through sales enablement, training partnership, and accountability systems

Operational and Cross‑Functional Alignment

Partner cross‑functionally with Construction, Operations, Marketing, and Finance to ensure sales velocity aligns with production timelines and delivery capacity

Maintain rigorous standards for CRM utilization, contract quality, backlog accuracy, and compliance

Ensure readiness at construction handoff and protect customer experience standards at every stage

Customer Experience and Contract Quality

Own customer‑related escalations and complex negotiations

Monitor survey feedback and lead corrective action when trends decline

Protect brand integrity through disciplined contract execution and process adherence

Skills & Qualifications
Experience

10-12 years of real estate sales experience within homebuilding

Minimum 5 years of leadership experience across multi‑region sales teams and with direct reports

Build on‑your‑land/on‑your‑lot builder experience strongly preferred

Demonstrated ownership of forecasts, revenue targets, and pricing strategy

Leadership Competencies

Executive‑level communication and cross‑functional influence

Data‑driven decision making with operational rigor

Specialized Knowledge

Construction Knowledge: General understanding of construction processes as it relates to new home construction on customer‑owned land

Proficiency with technology: successful utilization of Windows‑based computers and software, including but not limited to Word, PDF Exchange, Excel, Outlook, and CRM systems

Abilities

Effective verbal and written communication with various audiences

Creative problem solving and ability to work under time constraints with minimal supervision

Team collaboration to produce quality work within tight timeframes while managing multiple priorities simultaneously

Exceptional organizational abilities and strong attention to detail

Education

Bachelor’s degree in business or related field preferred

An equivalent combination of education and experience is considered
