Technical Lead – .NET Core / React

Our Client is seeking an experienced Technical Lead to drive the technical direction of enterprise software initiatives while remaining actively involved in architecture, development, and problem‑solving. This role combines hands‑on engineering expertise with technical leadership, ensuring the successful delivery of scalable, cloud‑based applications aligned with business goals. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in .NET Core, React, and AWS Cloud, along with proven experience establishing best practices across the software development lifecycle.

Job Responsibilities

Provide technical leadership for software development projects from design through deployment.

Design and develop scalable applications using .NET Core, React, and AWS Cloud services.

Lead code reviews and ensure adherence to development standards, security requirements, and best practices.

Partner with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Architects, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

Drive application modernization efforts and cloud‑native development strategies.

Troubleshoot complex technical issues and provide hands‑on support when needed.

Participate in sprint planning, technical estimations, and architectural discussions.

Required Qualifications

5+ years of experience serving as a Technical Lead on software development projects.

5+ years of experience developing applications with .NET Core using React.

Experience designing solutions within AWS Cloud environments.

Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices, and distributed systems.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).

Experience with Docker and Kubernetes (preferred).

Job Type & Location
Contract to Hire position based out of Winston‑Salem, NC.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $45.00 – $65.00 per hour.

Workplace Type
Fully onsite position in Winston‑Salem, NC.
