This position is with the Missouri Department of Natural Resources, Division of State Parks, and will be located at

1659 E. Elm St. Jefferson City, MO.

This is an opportunity to join a dedicated group of professionals who work hard together to ensure generations of visitors have an excellent experience in Missouri State Parks and learn about Missouri's outstanding cultural and natural resources.

Maintains the graphics email inbox, responding to customers via email and verbally by phone and in person.
Work with customers, programs and regions to confirm project details and requirements.
Assign projects for sign production, large format production, website changes and development, printing, and marketing.
Investigate and evaluate potential projects, developing and defining the project's scope of work and estimated cost.
May attend meetings to determine what the design needs are for the division and for the other programs.
Help with art direction to ensure consistency.
Coordinates graphics projects as needed.
Maintain databases and project management systems.
Assist in file management.
Work with OA Document Solutions (State Printing) as needed.
Helps with the distribution, delivery, receipt and installation of all printed materials is done efficiently and accurately.
To be successful in this position, a candidate will need the following skills :

Multimedia Technologies: Knowledge of the principles, methods, tools, and techniques to develop or apply technology using text, audio, graphics, or other media.
Project Management: Knowledge of the principles, methods, or tools for developing, scheduling, coordinating, and managing projects and resources, including monitoring and inspecting costs, work, and contractor performance.
Communications and Media: Knowledge of the production, communication and dissemination of information and ideas to inform and entertain via written, oral, and visual media.
Attention to Detail: Is thorough when performing work and conscientious about attending to detail.
Equivalent to those typically gained by :

A bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with a minimum of 15 earned credit hours in one or a combination of the following: Graphics Arts, Graphic Design, Communications, English, Public Relations, Advertising, Marketing, or a closely related field
Preferred Qualifications

Four or more years of professional experience in printing, graphic design, advertising or marketing, including one or more years of advanced professional experience coordinating, analyzing, and evaluating informational and public relations activities. (24 earned graduate credit hours from an accredited college or university in the specified areas may substitute for a maximum of one year of the general experience.)
(Additional qualifying experience may substitute on a year-for-year basis for deficiencies in the required education.)
