We are looking for an experienced professional to join our Securitized Products Sales group, working with MUFG’s institutional investor clients. The role is based in an MUFG office or client sites four days per week, with one remote day. A member of our recruitment team will provide additional details.
Position Summary
The Securitized Products Sales group serves MUFG’s institutional investor clients, including insurance companies, banks, asset managers, hedge funds, endowments, and pension funds. Products include asset‑backed securities, agency mortgage securities, collateralized loan obligations, agency commercial mortgage securities, repo, and structured solutions financing. Team members collaborate with traders, bankers, syndicates, strategists, and economists to deliver tailored solutions on macro‑economic and relative value themes, as well as asset and liability management.
Responsibilities
Manage institutional investor client relationships across a range of securitized products.
Monitor market developments within each asset class and stay current on themes and market flows.
Collaborate closely with Banking and Syndicate teams for business development.
Maintain knowledge of regulatory requirements and their impact on the business.
Partner with other asset‑class teams to promote cross‑selling across the firm.
Provide backup to colleagues and foster teamwork.
Work with mid‑office and sales assistants to ensure trades are captured and confirmed in a timely fashion.
On‑board clients in coordination with credit, legal, compliance, and operations teams.
Mentor and train junior talent.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or higher; MBA and/or CFA is a plus.
Minimum 5 to 10+ years of related securitized sales experience.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Compensation and Benefits
The typical base pay range for this role is between $200,000 and $251,000, depending on job‑related knowledge, skills, experience, and location. This role may also be eligible for discretionary performance‑based bonus and/or incentive compensation.
