Event Video Producer

PurposeThe Event Video Producer will work with the Digital Media Production Director on all video production requests from all Pine Crest Constituents on both campuses to include creating, editing and distributing content, recording and live streaming, technical setup and tear down, and equipment maintenance andinventory.Essential Job FunctionsSupports the School’s mission statement and the philosophy of the department and adheres to School policies and procedures, including but not limited to what is outlined in the Employee HandbookVideo recording and live streaming of academic and extracurricular events and projects during school hours and during performance/presentation schedules after school throughout the school yearOperation of Sports Broadcasting technical engineering and operation of PCTV Sports truckCreation of video instructional design elements for Pine Crest neXt courses. This includes but is not limited to filming interviews and acquiring b-roll, designing graphics, video editing, media asset management, and moreCapturing behind-the-scenes footage of Fine Arts rehearsals for the creation of Fine Arts “The Making Of” documentariesAssists in the production of all video related marketing content to support the Marketing and Communications officeProduce Athletic highlight and hype video content that showcases school Athletic Teams and promotes school spiritEdits all acquired contentAssists with the cataloging and IT management of video assetsAssists with maintenance and inventory of Digital Media Production acquisition equipment and post production workstationsAssists in software upgrades and installationsUploads video content to distribution channels such as VimeoPerforms other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Department Supervisor or their designeeJob QualificationsEducation High School Diploma or equivalent, Bachelor's degree preferredExperience and QualificationsMinimum of 2 years’ experience with Production acquisition (camera) equipment, as well as post production software such as Final Cut Pro, Adobe Premiere, and/or AvidExperience with video encoding, live streaming, broadband delivery, and online content distribution preferredExperience with camera support equipment such as dollies, stabilizers, and remote aerial videography preferredCertifications and Licenses: Certifications in Final Cut Pro, Adobe Premiere CC, and/or Avid are preferred
