Job Overview
As an AWS Senior Solutions Architect in the Strategic Accounts segment, you partner with Amazon Web Services’ most valuable customers to design, implement, and optimize cloud architectures that accelerate product delivery and enable scalable, cost‑optimized applications. You influence product direction, help customers tap into new markets with AWS services, and identify patterns that drive industry‑wide innovation.

Responsibilities

Partner with customers, product owners, and AWS service teams to design cloud solutions that meet business outcomes.

Lead technology discussions with Technical Architects, Cloud Architects, Directors, and VPs, articulating the value of AWS services.

Identify industry trends and develop knowledge packages that accelerate innovation across customer segments.

Collaborate with marketing, professional services, and other AWS teams to shape customer strategies and present executive‑level recommendations.

Basic Qualifications

8+ years of experience in technology domains such as software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, or security.

3+ years of design, implementation, or consulting experience with applications and infrastructure.

10+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting experience in software or Internet industries.

Preferred Qualifications

5+ years of infrastructure architecture, database architecture, and networking experience.

Knowledge of SAP systems (e.g., SAP Business Suite, S/4HANA, SAP HANA) and their architecture.

Experience with end‑user or developer communities and managing relationships with SAP customers and partners.

Familiarity with SAP S/4HANA, SAP Cloud Platform, SAP Cloud ERP, and Cloud ERP Private.

Experience in SAP clean‑core design concepts, incorporating generative/agentic AI and analytics into non‑SAP technologies.
