The Role

Associate Photographers are responsible for collecting media for Homes.com and Apartments.com. Using a Matterport Pro 3 camera, digital camera equipment and an iPad, you will create virtual tours, floor plans, and photography for residential properties. You will serve a core territory, meet scheduled appointments, and work closely with clients, sales associates, logistics, and management. Photography Managers in local markets supervise photographers remotely.
Responsibilities

Support marketing efforts on Homes.com and Apartments.com by capturing high‑quality 3‑D virtual tours and footprints.
Create a portfolio of photographs that best showcase homes and apartments, using professional techniques.
Work closely with scheduling and dispatch teams to maximize appointments and meet client demands.
Communicate professionally with clients, sales, researcher partners, and management to evaluate priorities, initiatives, and tasks.
When not photographing residential homes, navigate one‑mile square grids to ensure complete commercial real estate data coverage, identify new inventory, missing availability, and properties to be photographed.
Abide by CoStar safety standards to protect company vehicles and equipment.
Represent CoStar in a professional manner at all times.
Participate in conference calls with sales and research teams as needed.
Physical Requirements

Repetitive and frequent sitting in a car, standing and walking for up to 8 hours per day.
Must lift, carry, and maneuver equipment weighing up to 5 pounds.
Repetitive hand and arm movements to type on a tablet or laptop and operate camera equipment.
Occasional bending, stooping, squatting, lifting, twisting, and carrying are necessary.
Can work and drive outside during all seasons.
Must be able to work weekends on a rotating schedule.
Qualifications

At least 2 years of professional experience.
Real estate photography experience required; experience as a professional photographer or a recent degree in photography is preferred.
High School Diploma or GED.
Strong customer‑service experience with a client‑first mindset.
Experience as a drone photographer with an FAA Part 107 license or certification obtained within 30 days of offer.
Strong time‑management skills and a high level of detail orientation.
Ability to accurately capture and enter data.
Excellent oral and written communication and organizational skills.
Knowledge of Windows, Microsoft Office, and internet applications; familiarity with Apple iOS products.
Enjoys working independently in a fast‑paced environment.
Field experience preferred.
Must possess a current and valid driver's license.
Pass a satisfactory driving record or driving abstract check prior to start; driving history must reflect responsible driving behavior and compliance with traffic laws.
