We photograph youth athletes, primarily at the high school level. This is a great opportunity for a portrait photographer who enjoys working with kids, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and takes pride in delivering consistently high-quality images.What You'll DoPhotograph individual athletes and teams at schools.Use off-camera lighting to create professional, high-quality portraitsWork efficiently in a high-volume environment while maintaining attention to detailSet up, move, and break down photography and lighting equipmentTravel between schools throughout the Sacramento area and locations 60+ miles outside of SacramentoWork outdoors in a variety of weather conditionsCommunicate confidently and professionally with athletes, coaches, parents, and school staffCreate a positive and professional experience for young athletes and their familiesThe Ideal CandidateYoure a skilled portrait photographer who is comfortable working quickly without sacrificing quality. You enjoy working with kids and teenagers, have a confident and friendly personality, and can easily communicate with coaches, parents, and school staff.You are:Experienced in portrait photography and off-camera lightingDetail-oriented with a strong eye for qualityComfortable working outdoors and in changing conditionsAble to lift, carry, and move photography equipmentOrganized, reliable, and able to work independentlyComfortable traveling throughout the Sacramento region and beyondProfessional, personable, and confident working with youth athletesPassionate about creating great images and a positive experience for every athleteCompensation & TravelThis position offers competitive compensation based on experience and assignment requirements.
