We are seeking a passionate and versatile Choir Accompanist to bring vibrant musical support to our choir and worship services. *Responsibilities*

* Accompany choir rehearsals and performances with proficiency in piano, organ, guitar
* Collaborate with choir director and clergy to select appropriate hymns, liturgical music, and concert pieces that align with service themes
* Read sheet music fluently and adapt arrangements or improvise harmonies to enrich musical presentations
* Maintain an understanding of musical liturgical knowledge to ensure performances are respectful of religious tradition
* Assist in acoustic treatment adjustments to optimize sound quality within performance spaces

*Experience*

* Proven experience performing religious music in a liturgical or church setting, demonstrating familiarity with hymnody and sacred repertoire
* Concert music performance experience across various genres, showcasing versatility in musical expression
* Skilled in playing multiple instruments including piano, organ, guitar
* Strong ability to read sheet music fluently and harmonize melodies effectively during rehearsals and performances
* Experience with music selection tailored for worship services or concert settings, blending different genres seamlessly
* Knowledge of acoustic treatment principles to enhance sound quality in performance venues
