Terminal Operations Technician

Asphalt Terminal Operator
We are seeking a dependable and safety-focused Asphalt Terminal Operator to support the daily operations of a petroleum terminal facility. This role is responsible for the safe and efficient handling of asphalt and petroleum products, equipment operation, loading activities, and facility maintenance. Training is provided for qualified candidates.
Key Responsibilities:

Load trucks and connect, unload, and prepare railcars
Operate, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain terminal equipment
Sample and gauge petroleum products
Prepare and maintain accurate terminal reports and records
Follow all safety, environmental, and operational procedures
Climb storage tanks up to approximately 45 feet
Work outdoors in varying weather conditions

Qualifications:

Basic math and documentation skills
Ability to learn mechanical systems and equipment
Valid driver’s license required
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs independently and up to 100 lbs with assistance
Strong commitment to safety, teamwork, and reliability

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in process operations, maintenance, manufacturing, or petroleum-related industries

Work Schedule: Monday- Friday.
This position may require a 4- or 5-day workweek, shift work, overtime, call-outs, and work during evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed.
