Marketing / Social Media Coordinator — Part-Time

About the Role
Shiraz Kitchen & Wine Bar is a Mediterranean restaurant with two locations — Chelsea (NYC) and White Plains (NY). We're looking for a part-time Marketing / Social Media Coordinator to help own our brand presence and content across both restaurants, keeping our voice consistent, polished, and full of momentum.
This role covers the day-to-day of restaurant marketing — from social content and photo/video shoots to email and event promotion — for a growing, critically recognized hospitality brand.
What You'll Do
Social Media & Content
- Help manage social strategy, content calendars, and posting across both restaurant accounts
- Plan and shoot photo/video for menu launches, seasonal changes, brunch, and events
- Write captions, stories, and copy that reflect each location's distinct voice
- Track engagement and performance, adjusting based on results
Marketing & Promotion
- Support promotion of special events, private dining, happy hour, and seasonal programming
- Help maintain brand consistency across visual identity, tone, and messaging
- Coordinate marketing collateral — menus, signage, email campaigns
- Support email marketing and guest communications (newsletters, promotions, invites)
Cross-Functional Support
- Partner with the chef and management team on menu and event storytelling
- Capture content on-site at both Chelsea and White Plains
What We're Looking For
- 3 years of marketing or social media experience, ideally in restaurants or hospitality
- Proven experience with social media management and content creation
- Strong writing skills, with the ability to adapt voice across two distinct locations
- Comfortable managing multiple projects across two locations
- Photography/videography skills or a strong creative eye
- Highly organized, deadline-driven, and proactive
- A genuine passion for food, hospitality, and storytelling
- Able to travel between Chelsea and White Plains as needed
Compensation & Schedule
- 💰 $25/hour
- ⏰ Part-time, minimum 20 hours/week
- 📍 Based in Chelsea + regular visits to White Plains
