Director, DOOH Media Sales . This exciting opportunity will be based at our Corporate Support Center in Irving, TX and will report to the VP, Global Licensing, Media & Branded Entertainment.

Job Summary
The Director, DOOH Media Sales is responsible for driving new advertising revenue through the sale of the CEC Media Network's in-venue digital screen inventory, one of the nation's largest family-focused digital out-of-home (DOOH) media networks. This role focuses on prospecting, developing, and managing relationships with media agencies, agency trading desks, and national advertisers to increase utilization of the CEC Media Network's digital screen inventory. The Director will develop a robust sales pipeline, educate buyers on the value of the network, negotiate and close advertising programs, and cultivate long-term agency relationships that generate repeat business. Working closely with internal account management and operations teams, the Director will transition sold programs for execution while remaining focused on revenue generation, client acquisition, and strategic account growth.

Duties And Responsibilities
Media Sales & Business Development

Develop and execute a sales strategy to drive advertising revenue across the CEC Media Network’s digital screen inventory.

Prospect, develop, and maintain relationships with media agencies, agency trading desks, holding companies, and national brand advertisers.

Leverage existing agency relationships while proactively building new business opportunities across the advertising community.

Educate media buyers and advertisers on the audience, capabilities, and value of the CEC Media Network as a premium family-focused DOOH advertising platform.

Develop customized media proposals, presentations, and sales materials aligned with advertiser objectives.

Negotiate and close advertising campaigns that achieve established revenue goals.

Partner with the Media Network Partnership Manager to ensure a seamless transition from sale through campaign execution and reporting.

Identify opportunities to grow existing advertiser relationships into recurring and annual media commitments.

Represent the CEC Media Network at industry conferences, agency meetings, and client presentations to generate awareness and new business.

Sales Planning & Reporting

Maintain accurate sales forecasts, pipeline activity, and required reporting.

Collaborate with the VP, Global Licensing, Media & Branded Entertainment on sales strategy, revenue forecasting, and business development initiatives.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Skills & General Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or a related field; equivalent experience will be considered.

5+ years of advertising or media sales experience, preferably in DOOH, OOH, retail media, digital media, or a related advertising environment.

Proven success selling media directly to agencies and national advertisers.

Existing relationships within the agency planning and buying community strongly preferred.

Experience selling Digital Out-of-Home (DOOH) media strongly preferred.

Strong understanding of the media planning and buying process, including familiarity with programmatic advertising and agency buying workflows.

Demonstrated ability to prospect, negotiate, and close new business.

Excellent presentation, communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.

Self-starter with a hunter mentality and a passion for developing new business opportunities.

Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple opportunities through the sales cycle.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Word); CRM experience and familiarity with AI-enabled business tools is a plus.

Ability to travel domestically up to 30% of the time.

Physical Demands
To perform the duties of this position, the incumbent must have the ability to sit, walk, stand, bend, twist, reach, and carry, lift, pull, push between 1 – 25 lbs. Incumbent must use a computer, with repetitive movement of both hands. Incumbent must be able to work an 8‑hour shift, with some overtime. Incumbent must also be available to travel as needed.
