Senior Director of Public Relations

Overseeing the development and implementation of media strategies, the full-time Senior Director of Public Relations will engage and educate external audiences on the organization's mission while promoting awareness of its policies and values in a remote setting.
Key responsibilities

Develop and implement media and public relations strategies to enhance organizational visibility
Represent the organization at media and public events, coordinating interviews and speaking opportunities for executives
Analyze industry news and maintain relationships with key media partners to foster a positive corporate reputation

Required qualifications

Bachelor's degree in communications, public relations, or a related field
8+ years of media relations or public relations experience, preferably in managed care, insurance, or healthcare
Experience with public or media relations agencies and pitching to top-tier media outlets
Demonstrated experience leading a team in a fast-paced environment
Outstanding organizational and planning skills, with the ability to manage multiple assignments under pressure
