Job Description and Position Requirements
The Penn State Abington Art Program is seeking applicants for the part‑time Media Specialist to relocate photography equipment into a new instructional space.

Responsibilities

Inventory existing photography equipment and materials for Fall instruction in new classroom.

Disassemble and pack photo enlargers for transport and instructional use.

Inventory and pack cameras and camera‑related equipment for transport and instructional use.

Inventory and prepare photo chemicals for transport or disposal.

Inventory and pack digital printer equipment for transport and instructional use.

Unpack and set up all equipment in new instructional space in preparation for fall classes.

Requirements and Qualifications

MFA in Photography or equivalent experience.

Experience and competency with digital and wet photography equipment maintenance, setup, and operation.

Requires the ability to safely move, lift, or carry photography equipment and supplies, which may include items weighing up to 50 lbs, with or without reasonable accommodation. Relocation of any larger items will be facilitated with equipment.

Schedule and Compensation

Job opening is available immediately. All work must be completed by

August 14th .

Candidate may work a maximum of 24 hours per week, and no more than 32 hours in total for the appointment.

Compensation:

$30/hr
